Your information
Privacy policy.
This policy explains the personal information Makroways may handle when someone visits the Onbops website, requests a demonstration, uses the product or makes a payment.
1. Who is responsible
Makroways develops and operates Onbops. The complete legal identity and business address of the responsible entity must be added to this policy before live payments launch. Privacy questions can currently be sent to contact@onbops.com.
2. Information we may handle
- Contact and enquiry data: name, email, telephone number, business type and any notes submitted in a demo or support request.
- Account data: login and profile details, plan, permissions and support history.
- Business content: customer, order, product, invoice, tax, payment-status and accounting-export information entered into Onbops by an authorized user.
- Payment metadata: payment status, amount, currency, Razorpay order or payment reference and limited transaction details needed for reconciliation. Full card details, UPI PINs and banking credentials should not be stored by Onbops.
- Technical data: device, browser, IP address, security, diagnostic and usage records where the deployed service is configured to collect them.
- Browser storage: the current demo-request form stores submitted form data in the user’s browser until it is cleared. This does not by itself send the request to Makroways.
3. Why information is used
Information may be used to provide and secure Onbops, configure accounts, create requested records, respond to enquiries, process and reconcile payments, provide support, prevent misuse, improve product reliability, comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.
4. Payments and Razorpay
When online payments are enabled, payment information may be collected and processed by Razorpay under its own privacy terms and payment flow. Makroways may receive transaction identifiers and status information. Customers should review the notices shown in the payment interface before completing a transaction.
5. Sharing
Information may be shared with service providers that host, secure, support or process payments for Onbops; professional advisers; authorities where legally required; and a successor in a lawful business transfer. Providers should receive only the information needed for their role and be subject to appropriate obligations.
6. Customer-controlled business data
A business using Onbops decides what customer and billing information it enters and why. That business is responsible for giving required notices, obtaining required permissions, limiting user access and responding to its customers. Makroways processes that information to provide the service and as otherwise documented or legally required.
7. Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, account administration, dispute resolution, security, backups and legal or tax obligations. Final retention periods must be documented for the production service.
8. Security
Makroways intends to use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures suited to the nature of the information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect passwords and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
9. Choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, a person may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a complaint. Requests can be sent to contact@onbops.com. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.
10. Children
Onbops is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. A child should not create an account or submit personal information without appropriate authorization.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated as the product, providers or legal requirements change. The updated date will be shown at the top, and material changes will be communicated where required.
